DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to host The Piedmont Environmental Council and Botanical Artist Lara Call Gastinger for an inspiring Nature Journaling Workshop and book signing event to celebrate Lara’s new publication “A Perpetual Journal Practice: Building a Connection with Nature Through Art” \nTake the morning to connect with the natural world through mindful observation\, drawing\, and writing. Whether you’re an experienced artist or a curious beginner\, this workshop will give you the tools to see nature in a whole new way. \nWe will also be sketching in the new riparian buffer planting at the Montfair Resort Farm pond to showcase the importance of riparian buffers to vegetation\, wildlife and recreation. \nThis event is free and open to all\, but registration is required.
